Xeno & Oaklander – Par Avion

Brooklyn-based, minimal electronic boy/girl duo Xeno & Oaklander are a part of Ghostly family now. X&O started their journey, scoring soundtracks and writing music in 2004. “Par Avion” is the title track to X&O’s forthcoming LP, recorded live in all-analogue studio in Brooklyn, NY.  The track has floaty , heterogeneous layers blended with Sean McBride’s staccato synth basslines and Liz Wendelbo dreamy voice.

From the ‘Masabumi Kikuchi with Gil Evans’ album, released under Fontana records in 1975. ‘Love in the Open’ has a fast, uprising start and at some point, it calms down which makes you crave for the high tempo refrains.
